Terms and Condition

Please take the time to carefully read the terms and conditions. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to write.

1) Travel arrangements.

Please plan your vacation thoroughly and prudently to accommodate your time and financial constraints. 20% to 50% (depending on the nature of the trip) of the trip’s cost must be paid once it has been confirmed, and the remaining balance must be paid when you arrive in Nepal before your trip.

2) Costs:

The prices shown are subject to adjustment for variations in currency exchange rates as well as unforeseen events like weather change, aircraft cancellations, internal political unrest, etc. There are no hidden fees, however the client is responsible for paying the transaction charge.

OVERALL BOOKING TERMS

For tours to Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. You should give us a copy of your passport and a 20% deposit of the trip’s total cost when you book the trip. 20% of the deposit is non-refundable.

Before beginning your trip or tour, you can pay the remaining balance when you arrive in Kathmandu.

THE WAY OF PAYMENT

You have two options for payment: credit card or wire transfer.

Note: The client is responsible for paying any bank fees associated with making a deposit.

Banking Transfers Once we have confirmed received the money, we will send your invoice confirmation. We will not cover the cost of the money transfer through the central bank or any intermediary bank because those fees are not included in the total price you would pay us for the tour.

3) Changes and moving a reservation travel to another:

You have the opportunity to adjust your itinerary or departure date, but you should do so well in advance. Any additional expenses for the trip, however, must be covered by you. We will do our utmost to tailor the program to your needs in one way or another.

4) Program Change or Delay:

We will be pleased to direct you to any alternate tour that will work for you if there are any unforeseen situations, such as terrible weather, political turmoil, landslides, health issues, or natural calamities that are beyond human control, that may arise.

5) Refunds & Cancellations:

Following are the cancellation period and refund policies;

If you cancel before 31 days or one month before your trip, you’ll get 70% of your money back.
2 to 3 weeks prior to the departure date, 50% is refundable. 25% of your trip will be refunded if you cancel between one and two weeks prior to departure. (If you request to book a regular 5 star hotel, only 10% of the deposit is refundable.)
Less than a week, 0% refund.
There will be no reimbursement if you decide to cancel the trip in the middle for whatever reason.
5: Fitness & Health:

We advise you to consult your own doctor before embarking on any vacation. It is best to let us know if you have any health issues.

6) Insurance for Travel:

It is advised that you have travel insurance as a need to cover accidents, emergency rescue in the event of poor weather, or the necessity to end the trip in the midst.

7) Visas & Passports:

All visitors must have a passport that is valid for at least six months. Visas can be obtained at the Nepalese embassy or consulate in your country, but they must be stamped upon arrival at the airport.

8) Grievances

Any issues that arise during the trip can be brought up with your tour guide or leader right away or at the office once the trip is over. The management will make an effort to investigate the situation and respond appropriately.

However, the information a person provides won’t be shared or published without the person’s consent. At Himalayan Mentor, we constantly keep in mind each person’s privacy, comfort, and safety.
