Trip Overview

The highest canyoning site in the world, NaarPhu at 5200 m, is one of many canyoning locations in this region that have been opened for professional canyoning tours. The Annapurna region is not able for being one of the top tourist locations in the Himalaya for hiking and mountaineering.

The Annapura and Manaslu mountain ranges, each eight thousand meters high, are the source of the gorges that the powerful Marshyangdi River and its tributaries have carved out. Both mountain ranges are wholly within the country of Nepal, and the canyoning locations are along the Annapurna Circuit, one of the most well-known hiking routes in the world. Therefore, it is an extra benefit for those looking for adventure to be able to spend a few days exhilarating canyoning and then continue trekking across the largest pass in Nepal, The Thorong-La or other
