Trip Overview

Himalayan Adventure You may explore a variety of wonderful Upper Mustang Region experiences in Nepal. The routes leading up to the border between China and Tibet are blocked by the forbidden kingdom of Nepal (upper mustang). In this article, we examine Upper Mustang as the deserving, eye-catching, and unusual location for off-road motorbike excursions, for risk takers, and of course, adventure fans. The world’s tallest mountain ranges encircle Lomanthang, the sacred kingdom, from north to south. After viewing the Muktinath temple in the desert, their indigenous monastery, and their way of life, the winding back roads will make you feel at home.

The journey begins with a walking tour of the Kathmandu Valley’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The most beautiful city in the world is Pokhara, where we shall thereafter bike. The road between Pokhara and Kathmandu is a little bit winding. Pokhara is a city with tranquil lakes and mountains including the Aanapurna, Fishtail, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri. The location of the natural hot springs will be for soar bumps relaxing and drinking. After two hours, the off-road portion of the journey begins at Beni bazaar. After arriving in Jomsom, the fairly level off-road routes leading to Kagbeni begin in the arid mountain valley. The route is rather difficult after passing the Kagbeni checkpoint since vehicles and tractors carved out their own lanes seeking shortcuts, but our guide will show the way. Our route will pass through several picturesque villages throughout the motorbike journey, including Kagbeni, Chussang Village, Samar, Ghemi Village, Tsarang, and Upper Mustang (Lomanthang) 3800m. There is another Chhosar Cave (15th century, 44 dwelling rooms), which is higher up and can be reached all the way to the Chinese border, if you want to travel even deeper (Corola). You will also love taking a ride with George Kaligandaki, the world’s deepest diver.
