Trip Overview

Yala Peak Climbing is a beautiful and fantastic excursion. Mountain Yala Peak (5500m/18040ft) is located in Nepal’s Langtang region. It is a rather easy, non-technical climbing that the Nepal Mountaineering Association classifies as a hiking peak.
Due to its proximity to Nepal’s border with Tibet, the Langtang area has a fascinating influx of mountain people’s distinctive customs and influences. The Valley of the North is dominated by Langtang Lirung (7246m). To the south are Gang Chhenpo (6388 meters) and Naya Kang (5848 meters), while Dorje Lakpa (6966 meters) guards the east end of the valley.
Yala Peak is located northeast of Kyangin Gompa (3870 m), in the Langtang Valley, and close to the Tibetan border. With a high camp at Yala Kharka, the peak may be ascended in two days from Kyanjin Gompa (4900 m). However, if you start early in the morning and have a significant amount of acclimatization, you may also climb it in one long day.
A wonderful two-week itinerary through Langtang National Park for climbing Yala Peak. The top is known for offering visitors a fantastic vantage point that truly captures what it feels like to be perched high in the isolated Himalayas.
