Trip Overview

The most well-liked trek in the Langtang region is the Helambu short walk. The best cost (pricing) and itinerary for this circuit are provided by Nepal Trek Adventure for 5 to 7 days. Both Melamchi Bazar, which is roughly 60 km from Kathmandu, and Sundarijal, which is 26 km, are good starting points for this journey. It stretches from north of Taramarang to the tree line of Gosainkunda Lake and lower slopes of Jugal Himal, northeast of Kathmandu. On both banks of the Melamchi Khola, there are a number of highland Tamang and Sherpa settlements that we encounter.

Helambu Short Trekking are different depending on what the clients want, and we may create the itinerary to suit their needs. “The valley of glaciers” is a fitting nickname for the Langtang valley. The mountains in this area are breathtaking. Mountains rise, reaching into the sky, on either side of the valley. The valley has pine forests, rapid and swift-moving mountain streams, craggy rock formations and snow-capped summits, grassy downs, and meadows covered with wild primulas and daisies. There are snow bridges spanning raging streams, lofty passes shrouded in mist, little lakes with icebergs coating them, and waterways of crystalline brilliance in the upper section of the valley. Due to the lower elevations (between 800m and 3600m), which offer less climbing and warmer temperatures, this trek is comparatively easier.

Trip Highlight

  • Pine trees, rhododendron blooms, and lush meadows
  • Ganesh Himal (7,406m), Langtang Lirung (7,345m), and Gaurishankar are all visible in stunning vistas (7,145m)
  • National Park in Shivapuri
  • traveling to historic monasteries, shrines, and stupas to learn about Buddhism
