Trip Overview

Adventurers and adrenaline junkies from all over the world are drawn to Mount Everest’s lofty top. Join us on this 12-day guided journey as we make our way to the base camp of the world’s highest mountain. Fly to the airport in Lukla from Kathmandu, then take the trail that runs alongside the Dudh Koshi River’s raging banks.

On the second day of the journey, arrive in Namche Bazaar. To get to Gorakshep, a small town (5,164m), proceed past the Sherpa settlements of Debuche, Dingboche, and Lobuche. This small town is perched on the edge of a frozen, sand-covered lakebed. On the eighth day of the journey, arrive at Everest Base Camp, which is situated in the center of the Khumbu Glacier.

Next, proceed to Kala Patthar. Take in the beautiful views of the mountains, which include Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Kangtega, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Kusum Kanguru, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lhotse, Lobuche Peak, Island Peak, Mt. Makalu, and of course, the magnificent Mt. Everest, which towers above the rest.

After that, begin your descent to Lukla. Enjoy the opportunity to experience the warmth and friendliness of the Sherpa people as you travel. Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival and transfer to a hotel in Kathmandu
  • Day 2 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and hike for four hours and eight kilometers to Phakding (2,620 m).
  • Day 3 : 5 hours and 12 kilometers from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m).
  • Day 4 : Rest day for acclimatization in Namche
  • Day 5 : Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3,680 m). 5hrs-11km.
  • Day 6 : Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,400 m), taking 5 hours and 11 kilometres
  • Day 7 : Dingboche acclimatization day
  • Day 8 : Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,900 m), 6 hours to 10 km
  • Day 9 : Gorak Shep-Lobuche (5,100 m). 3 hours and 13 kilometres to the Everest Base Camp
  • Day 10 : Trek back to Pheriche (4,250 m) after visiting Kala Pathar (7 hours-15 km).
  • Day 11 : Pheriche Trek back to Namche.
  • Day 12 : trek from Namche Bazar to Lukla
  • Day 13 : Lukla-Kathmandu morning flight

Trip Cost Inclusion

  • Transport to and from the airport (on request) services provided by a private car
  • Domestic flight tickets from Kathmandu to Lukla and back, including all airline fees and fuel surcharges

Trip Cost Exclusion

  • travel expenses abroad and visa costs for Nepal (two passport photographs required) additionally, travel insurance and medical evacuation insurance
  • the cost of personal items (bars and beverage bills, dessert and snacks, hot shower, drinking water, telephone, internet, laundry, titbits, etc)
  • expenses brought on by accidents, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control. If you abandon the trek willingly, fees are neither transferable or refundable.
  • In the event of early returns or late departures, meals and lodging in Kathmandu
