Trip Overview

North-central Nepal is home to the Annapurna circuit, which has two peaks higher than 8,000 meters, thirteen peaks higher than 7,000 meters, and sixteen more summits higher than 6,000 meters. One of the most well-known trekking routes is the Annapurna circuit. The Thorong La Pass Trek, also referred to as the Annapurna Round. Nilgiri and Fishtail are part of the Annapurna Circuit, or loops of the Annapurna Himal mountains.

The Thorong La pass, where the Annapurna Circuit Trek reaches its highest elevation of 5,416 meters, touches the famed Tibetan plateau. Beautiful alpine landscapes may be found in Annapurna. Before COVID-19, more than 95,000 visitors participate in the annual Annapurna circuit Thorong La pass trip. We note out that the Annapurna circuit Thorong La pass trekking actually begins in Chame, which is at an altitude of 2670 meters, as opposed to Besi Sahar, where it originally began because the road now leads to Manang. The ideal alternative for trekkers who want to traverse the stunning Thorongla pass but are limited on time is. Therefore, the Asian Hiking Team advises a 7-day quick trek to cross the Thorong La pass.

The Annapurna Circuit Trek’s shortest route is created by Asian Hiking Team. The journey begins in Chame, which is located at a height of 2670 meters above sea level, and ends in Jomsom, which is located at a height of 2700 meters. We take a tourist bus from Kathmandu to BesiSahar before continuing by Jeep to Chame. The road is narrow and passable from Besisahar to Chame. Due to the possibility of the road closing during the monsoon, the trek is not feasible. Before making the reservation, you should check. Start your trip in Chame, proceed to Manang, have a day off, and then ascend to the Thorong La pass. Reach Muktinath, which is in the Mustang region, after crossing the Thorongla. It is possible to board a Jeep from Muktinath, but we prefer to give our visitors a full day to explore the Mustang valley before concluding our trek in Jomsom.
