Cable Car in Sarangkot
Sarangkot, in contrast to other spiritual hill towns, is well known for its dawn vantage position. Every day, Sarangkot is visited by thousands of visitors. The Annapurna cable car Pvt Ltd. is building a cable car service in Pokhara that will connect Phewa Lake and Sedibagar, Sarangkot. Around Rs 800 million will be invested by the company, of which 55% will be owned by Pokhara-based entrepreneurs, 30% by Japan Cable Car, and the remaining 25% by a Nepali national of Japanese descent. The cable car line will be 2.2 km long, and operating the cable cars is expected to consume 500KW of power. The ability to view mountains, green hills, lakes, and valleys while riding a cable car will make it a popular tourist destination
