One of the most popular treks in the Everest region is the Gokyo Chola Pass Trek. This journey connects Gokyo Valley and Everest Base Camp by via the challenging Chola Pass, a 5417-meter mountain pass. It includes the entire Solukhumbu (Distric), some lovely peaks, Lukla, Namche Bazar, and Tengboche in addition to Everest Base Camp (like Gokyo Ri or Kala Patthar). One of the most famous and challenging treks in the Himalayan mountains and Sherpa homeland is the EBC and Gokyo through Cho La Pass route in Nepal. Everest Base Camp, at a height of 5364 meters, and Kala Patthar, at a height of 5545 meters, are two of the expedition’s objectives. We can also observe Mount Pumo Ri’s 7168m southern face while ascending Kala Patthar.
A tourist only has a daypack and is on foot. 4-6 hours per day will be spent walking. After a 30-minute flight from Kathmandu, we begin the journey from Lukla. The true experience starts when we touch down at the small airport. We journey for several days through the Sherpa homelands, passing Buddhist temples and getting up-close views of Mt. Everest and the nearby Ama Dablam (6856m), which many people consider to be among Nepal’s most stunning mountains. We stay three nights in Namche Bazar, a thriving market town in the Sherpa region.
